1. What MyCraft is

MyCraft is an online platform that connects people who need work done ("employers") with independent tradespeople ("tradespeople"). We are launching first in Botswana and South Africa and may expand to other countries. We provide the listing, matching, messaging-by-contact-details, completion and rating tools only.

2. We are not the employer

We do not employ tradespeople, we are not a party to the agreement between an employer and a tradesperson, and we do not supervise, direct or guarantee the work. Each tradesperson is an independent contractor responsible for their own tools, qualifications, licences, tax and insurance. Employers are responsible for a safe working environment.

3. Payment is arranged directly between the parties

The fee shown on a job is the amount offered by the employer and accepted by the tradesperson. MyCraft does not collect, hold or transfer money. Payment method, timing and any deposit are agreed directly between the employer and the tradesperson. We are not liable for non-payment or for payments made outside the platform.

4. Accounts

5. Acceptable use

No fake jobs or profiles, harassment, discrimination, illegal work, spam, or attempts to get around platform security. Use the "Report" button to tell us about problems. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

6. Jobs, completion, ratings and disputes

Tradespeople accept jobs on the stated scope, location, duration and fee. Ratings must be honest and relate to the job. Either party can add notes to a dispute; our team may review and record an outcome, but this is an informal process and does not replace your legal rights or a court/ombud.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including the South African Consumer Protection Act and applicable Botswana law), the platform is provided "as is" and we are not liable for the quality, safety or legality of work performed, or for losses arising from agreements between users. [Liability cap and exclusions to be drafted by counsel.]

8. Privacy

How we use personal information is described in our Privacy policy.

9. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. Governing law: [South Africa / Botswana — to be decided]. Contact: support@mycraftglobal.com [confirm support email / phone].
